I just finished the pre-launch page for my next Kickstarter!
This Kickstarter is for Beginnings, a brand-new science fiction collection in paperback. It includes six stories: two novellas and four short stories. And two of those short stories have never been published before.
I’m really looking forward to sharing this collection with you because it takes place in a completely different universe. It’s set in my A New Era Universe, at a point that’s actually not that far in the future. Humanity is just beginning to reach for the stars. We have colonies throughout the solar system, and the very first interstellar spaceflight is about to take place.
This is such an exciting time period to explore because it takes a lot of courage to reach out toward something completely new. At the same time, you have to make sure it’s actually going to work. There’s this constant tension between embracing the future and leaving the familiar behind.
All six stories are about new beginnings in one way or another, and that’s what ties the collection together. It’s a really special collection to me personally, and I hope you’re going to enjoy it.
