This is the second book in Gareth L Powers Embers of War series. It’s space opera that explores the legacies of war. I’ve written a short story about what happens after the war (Good morning victorious), and this trilogy explores some of the same themes.
I’ve just finished reading Obsession in Death, which is the 40th book in the In Death series. It’s police procedurals taking place in the future. The first novel takes place in the year 2058. Because it’s the 40th book in the series, you can probably guess that I love this series. 🙂
I’ve always loved a good mystery and combined with my favorite genres of fantasy and/or science fiction it’s totally the best. Which is probable the reason why a lot of my stories includes some kind of mystery. 🙂
